A Global Background
Born and raised in Belgium to Dutch parents, Maayke developed an international perspective from an early age. After spending a year in the United States during high school, she continued her education in the Netherlands.
In 1991, she made the move to St. Maarten, where she built her career, raised her two daughters, Tess and Lynn, and created a life deeply connected to the island.
Fluent in English, Dutch, and French, with a strong understanding of German and Spanish, Maayke works comfortably with clients from around the world.
A Career in Real Estate
Maayke began her real estate career in 1998, joining a small firm where she successfully expanded the rental division before moving into sales and management.
In 2008, she launched her own luxury real estate company, Antilles Realty, with a focus on ethics, professionalism, and personalized service.
Her dedication and expertise led to Antilles Realty becoming the exclusive Luxury Real Estate member for St. Maarten in 2011. As a Regent of Luxury Real Estate, Maayke represented Sint Maarten internationally, attending conferences and building strong relationships with luxury real estate professionals around the world.

LIFE ON THE ISLAND
Outside of real estate, Maayke enjoys everything that makes Caribbean living special. She loves hiking, boating, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
Her love of travel also remains an important part of her life. She regularly visits Europe to see her daughters and family and enjoys exploring architecture, museums, wineries, and the arts.
She is also passionate about giving back to the community. As a former member of the Rotary Club of St. Maarten, she spent five years involved in community service and later focused on rebuilding efforts following Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Through KW St. Maarten, she looks forward to becoming involved in meaningful community projects once again.
